Celine Dion is keeping it real with fans in a world of AI-generated music that's often difficult to distinguish from reality.

The "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" songstress posted an important message to Instagram over the weekend, calling out "fake" AI-generated music circulating the internet in her "name and likeness."

"It has come to our attention that unsanctioned, AI-generated music purporting to contain Celine Dion’s musical performances, and name and likeness, is currently circulating online and across various Digital Service Providers. Please be advised that these recordings are fake and not approved, and are not songs from her official discography."

Dion shared a handful of snaps on social media last week, getting fans excited for a possible return to the studio and shouting out special female musicians she's been blessed to form connections with over the years, including Beyoncè, the Spice Girls, Cher, Adele, and the legendary Barbara Streisand.

This is not the first time the "My Heart Will Go On" hitmaker has teased studio time. Just last week, she posted a few pics of herself recording music in Paris in 1998. Dion took a break from music in 2020 due to complications with stiff person syndrome and returned to the stage for a one-off performance at the Summer Olympics in Paris in July 2024.
