Remembering TODAY In 1959..."The Day The Music Died"...

It was 63 Years Ago TODAY...February 3rd, 1959, when TRAGEDY struck the music world. The day has been immortalized in Don McLean's song "American Pie", as "The Day The Music Died".
It's all based on the aviation accident that occurred on February 3, 1959, near Clear Lake, Iowa, killing rock and roll musicians Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens, and J. P. "The Big Bopper" Richardson, as well as the pilot, Roger Peterson.

God Bless Them All...
