TODAY marks the anniversary of the tragic day in 1981 when singer/songwriter HARRY CHAPIN died. While he's probably best known for songs like "Cats in the Cradle" and "Taxi", he's equally known for his activism as a founder of WhyHunger, a national nonprofit working to end hunger.
TODAY, In his honor, YOU can help spread the word that Harry's legacy lives on through his anti-hunger work. WhyHunger believes that access to nutritious food is a basic human right; not a privilege. If you or a loved one are in need, the WhyHunger Hotline at 1-800-5-HUNGRY is available to help! Call to be connected to free local meal sites, or visit whyhunger.org/findfood for more information.
Your support will help Harry's legacy live on.
