CORONAVIRUS: The Virus Is Hitting The Entertainment World Hard


We already told you that there have been a lot of concerts that have been postponed, but the outbreak is hitting world of entertainment as well.

Here's the latest:

Disneyland and California Adventure in Anaheim, Disney World in Orlando, and Disney Paris will all close their doors by Monday. (LA Times)

Universal Studios in Hollywood and Orlando will both close this weekend and plan to reopen at the end of March. (NBC)

Disney has taken Mulan (March 27th),The New Mutants (April 3rd) and Antlers (April 17th) off the release schedule, according to Deadline. New dates haven't been announced. (Deadline)

America's Got Talent will tape episodes without an audience. The move comes after judge Heidi Klum fell ill on the set this week. The official word is that she had food poisoning. (TMZ)

After saying they'd tape without audiences,The Late Show,The Tonight Show,Late Night and The Wendy Williams Show will now suspend production and go on hiatus.The Late Show plans to return on March 30th. (Deadline)

Joy Behar will take time off from The View. No one connected to the show has coronavirus, but the 77-year-old says she'll stay home since she's at a "higher risk group because of my age.” (Variety)

Pornhub has offered Italians something to keep their minds off their nationwide quarantine -- free access to its premium service during the month of March. (PC Magazine)

The Price Is Right will go on a two-week hiatus. Obviously the game show needs a studio audience, so without one there's no show. (TMZ)

Fast and Furious 9, which was scheduled to open next Friday, has been pushed back an entire year to April 2nd, 2021. (Variety)

The release of A Quiet Place Part II, starring John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, has been delayed. It was set to open next Friday. A new date hasn't been announced.

Jerry Seinfeld has postponed several stand-up comedy shows, including his gig at New York's Beacon Theatre this weekend. On Instagram, he wrote, "Let’s do this another time when we can relax and enjoy it a lot more." ⁣

Adam Sandler has put his stand-up comedy tour on hold. He says, "We've been looking forward to this upcoming tour for a long time but after a lot of thought we have decided to postpone the March dates."

Soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo has been quarantined after his teammate Daniele Rugani tested positive for coronavirus. (TMZ)

Netflix has shut down one of its L.A. offices after an employee was believed to have contracted coronavirus,reports.

While the comic convention WonderCon has been postponed, organizers say the San Diego Comic Con is still set for late July.
