Oreo has been tickling our taste buds since 2012 with their limited edition releases. Their next release is the Brookie-O with Brownie, Original Creme & Cookie Dough triple layered creme!! I'm in heaven. Find these in stores, January 2021.
In case you were wondering, Oreo has released 65 limited flavors since 2012. The reason why, sales! In a new article in the New York Times, senior director of the Oreo brad Josh Parnell said, "When we do it well, it drives our classic Oreo cookie, as well as the sales of the limited edition. He goes on to say that customers will "pick up that classic Oreo variety that they love, whether it’s the original or Golden or Double Stuf, in addition to the limited edition."
