Two 70's Artists Pass.. Helen Reddy & Mac Davis.


Helen Reddy, who's big 70's hits included the female anthem 'I Am Woman,' passed at a nursing home in Los Angeles after a battle with dementia at the age of 78. Just a day after her biopic was released on Netflix.

Mac Davis wrote such Elvis hits as 'In The Ghetto,' and 'A Little Less Conversation;' had his own #1 with 'Baby, Don't Get Hooked On Me,' #1 this week in 1972, and, toyed around with acting in such films as 'North Dallas Forty.' Mac Davis died following heart surgery in Nashville. He was also 78.
