(Palm Springs, CA) -- Sixties pop star Trini Lopez has died of COVID-19. Lopez became famous for his pop renditions of folk songs, like "Lemon Tree" and "If I Had a Hammer." He was also an actor who appeared in movies including "The Dirty Dozen" and TV series including Adam-12. The Hollywood Report says Lopez died in Palm Springs of complications from the coronavirus at age 83.
