No sports.. so ESPN is hurting for some programming. Their parent company, Disney, has 'stepped up to the plate,' so to speak. Beginning tonight, Friday nights will be Disney Movie Nights on ESPN. And, to coincide with what WOULD have been MLB's opening week, tonight's movie is The Rookie, from 2000, in which Dennis Quaid plays Jim Morris, a high school baseball coach who became the oldest rookie in the major leagues. Next Friday, what would've been the NCAA Basketball Final Four, it's Glory Road, the story of Hall Of Fame coach Don Haskins, who started the first all African-American lineup in college basketball.
