DALLAS COWBOYS & PITTSBURGH STEELERS TO PLAY IN 2020 HALL OF FAME GAME ON THURSDAY, AUG. 6

CANTON, OHIO –TheDallas CowboysandPittsburgh Steelerswill kick off the National Football League’s season in the city where the league was born. The Cowboys and Steelers are scheduled to face each other in the 2020 Hall of Fame Game on Thursday, Aug. 6 at 8 p.m. ET in Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium, adjacent to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
The game marks the seventh appearance by each club in the annual preseason classic which is tied for the most by any team. Both teams own 3-3 records in the Hall of Fame Game series.
Steelers coachBILL COWHERand safetyTROYPOLAMALU, along with former Cowboys CoachJIMMY JOHNSONwill be enshrined into the Hall of Fame two days later as members of the Centennial Class of 2020.STEVE ATWATER, ISAAC BRUCE, STEVE HUTCHINSON, EDGERRIN JAMES,STEVE SABOL, PAUL TAGLIABUEandGEORGE YOUNGwill also be enshrined at the annual Enshrinement Ceremony, which is set for Saturday, Aug. 8, 2020 at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium.
