I was recently fortunate to be part of Minutes Matter, a partnership initiative with UPMC and The City Of Pittsburgh, to provide access to basic emergency information; and hands-on instruction in life-saving interventions. We have a defibrillator here in the office at iHeart - I had NO idea how to utilize it until this training. I learned hands-only CPR.. applying a tourniquet, packing a wound, a variety of procedures that will make me more likely to step up and help than to stand back and feel helpless in an emergency situation.
