Muscle Shoals Guitarist Jimmy Johnson Passes..

Jimmy Johnson played on hundreds of records as part of the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section, and played on sessions with many R&B greats in the early 60s. He played with Aretha Franklin, Paul Simon, Lynyrd Skynyrd and more..He formed his own studio in the late 60s and worked with everyone from Bob Dylan to the Rolling Stones. His son wrote on Facebook that Johnson has passed away at age 76.
