(Undated) -- The artist who made the iconic Parliament Funkadelic album covers of the 70s has passed away. P-Funk leader George Clinton and bassist Bootsy Collins both confirmed the news on social media, and said artist Pedro Bell had died at the age of 69. Bell's memorable drawings were on several Clinton album covers, most notably on the 1978 Funkadelic album One Nation Under a Groove. In a statement to Rolling Stone, Collins called Bell's art an "essential part of the Funkadelic experience."
