(Washington, DC) -- Earth, Wind & Fire and Linda Ronstadt are among the recipients of this year's Kennedy Center honors. The Kennedy Center said in a statement the prestigious award celebrates icons who "have left an indelible stamp on our collective cultural consciousness." Other recipients this year include actress Sally Field and the TV show Sesame Street. The awards will be presented on December 7th.
