(undated) -- The Beach Boys' Mike Love is covering the Ramones on his new solo album. Love told Billboard that it felt natural to cover the Ramone Rockaway Beach because it fits beautifully in the Beach Boys surfing song genre, and, he added, it's right in my vocal range. Love said he's eager to play it live. The Mike Love solo album 12 Sides of Summer also features covers of Abba, the Beatles and the Dave Clark Five. It comes out July 19th.
