Taylor Swift has applauded Simone Biles for her return to the Olympics, saying we all learned from you.
She narrated a promo for the Tokyo Olympics as Simone Biles returned to compete in the balancee beam on Tuesday night. In the promo, you hear Taylor Swift say "What do we want from our heroes?" with her song This Is Me Trying, playing in the background. She then explains the weight of the world that Biles face since withdrawing from the previous events, due to her mental health.
Biles was moved by Taylor's words and thanked her on Twitter. Taylor Swift then responded saying "I cried watching YOU. I feel so lucky to have gotten to watch you all these years, but this week was a lesson in emotional intelligence and resilience. We all learned from you. Thank you."
