The powerful Nor’easter that slammed into the East Coast brought an unwanted surprise to Surf City, New Jersey…a shark. A local resident captured the shark swimming through the brackish floodwater on Saturday, with the ocean predator almost blending into the water as he swam around the town. The good news is, an expert says it was a smooth dogfish, “Which is a very small, harmless shark that is common in those waters.”
