The Eagles are revisiting their reunion album “Hell Freezes Over.” To celebrate the 25 th anniversary of the album’s release the band will reissue the record March 8 th on double 180-gram black vinyl.
This is the first time the album is being issued as a stand-alone double vinyl. It was previously available on vinyl as an import double-LP and as part of 2018's “Legacy” box set.
Released in 1994, “Hell Freezes Over” featured the Eagles' “Long Run”-era lineup - Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Joe Walsh, Don Felder , and Timothy B. Schmit . The album went nine-times platinum and spent two weeks atop the charts. It also spawned a successful two-year tour.
