Folks at CinemaCon on Tuesday got a first look at some of the most-hyped movies coming to the big screen. Along with a peek at “Matrix: Resurrections,” due for release December 22nd, the Las Vegas event also screened first looks at “The Batman” starring Robert Pattinson,“The Sopranos” prequel “The Many Saints of Newark,” and Kristen Stewart as Princess Dianain “Spencer.”
The“Spencer” footage features a tense conversation between the Princes and Princess of Wales, as well as a shot of Stewart’s Diana prancing through the estate grounds and evading the paparazzi. Unfortunately, none of the footage shown at CinemaCon hasn’t gone public… yet.
Meanwhile, when it comes to “Matrix 4,”Lilly Wachowski has explained why she’s not working with her sister Lana on the latest installment of the franchise like she did with the first three. Speaking at the TCA Summer Press Tour panel for her Showtime series “Work In Progress,” Lilly says Lana came up with the idea for the new movie, and that she just didn’t really feel like going “back to something [I’d] done before.”
