Michael Keaton might be stepping back into the Batsuit. The actor is reportedly in early talks to return as Batman alongside Ezra Miller in Warner Bros’ “The Flash.”
Keaton first appeared as the Caped Crusader in Tim Burton’s 1989 “Batman” movie, and returned for Burton’s “Batman Returns” in 1992. He ditched the role before “Batman Forever,” when Val Kilmer took over… but now, there’s a chance fans will see Keaton’s Batman again.
Miller is set to play Barry Allen, AKA The Flash, in the upcoming DC Extended Universe movie.Andy Muschietti is on board to direct “The Flash,” which is due for release in the summer of 2022. So far, it’s unclear how much Keaton’s potential Batman role will play a part in the film.
