Kenny Rogers passed away on March 20th, and now fans are getting to hear a long lost tune by the singer.
Capitol Nashville just released the track “Goodbye” to radio, a song written by Lionel Richie, that previously only appeared on “Kenny Rogers: The First 50 Years,” a 45-track compilation released by Time Life in 2009.
The label noted, “Those closest to Kenny wanted to make this track available to all of this fans.”
ONE MORE THING! Kenny's death has sparked renewed interest in his music. In fact, his 2018 album, “The Best of Kenny Rogers: Through the Years,” moved 32,000 equivalent album units to debut at nine on the Billboard 200 Album chart this week. It's Kenny's highest charting album since 1983.
