Tom Hanks and his wife, Rita Wilson, have tested positive for the coronavirus. The two are in Australia where he’s filming Baz Luhrman’s untitled project on Elvis Presley.
The Oscar winner has taken to The ‘Gram to give everyone an update. He says that while he and Rita have COVID-19, they’re good and taking it one day at a time. The main reason they’re in isolation is to keep from spreading it to more vulnerable people.
“There are things we can all do to get through this by following the advice of experts and taking care of ourselves and each other, no?” he added before invoking his famous line from “A League of Their Own.” “Remember, despite all the current events, there is no crying in baseball.”
