227) Bon Jovi: "There is no band that brings about a crazier debate in my head when it comes to the Rock Hall than Bon Jovi. On one hand, they’re a huge band that was successful for quite some time. On the other hand, I find myself asking the question: If you removed Bon Jovi from existence, would it affect the history of music all that much, if at all? In the end, I’m left with thinking more than any other Rock Hall Inductee, Bon Jovi lowers the bar of induction. The band is adequate, but not exceptional and maybe the reason Nickelback might get in someday. That’s not a good thing."

Those being inducted this year areThe Doobie Brothers, T. Rex, Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, Whitney Houston and The Notorious B.I.G.
