Guests Open Mosh Pit When DJ Plays Slayer At Wedding Reception

While you would generally not expect to hear Slayer's music played at a wedding reception, in a situation where you did, there's only one thing any thrash-loving headbanger could do: open up this pit.

That's exactly what happened at the recent wedding of Katherine and Adam Schwartz. The couple had its DJ play Slayer's "Raining Blood" as the last song of their reception, and video from the occasions shows it went over famously.

Katherine and Adam had the dance floor packed for their last song, and the guests looked ready to rock. The iconic first riff of "Raining Blood" didn't even make it to its second repetition before a mosh pit formed and someone body-checked poor Katherine, launching the bride across the dance floor.

Slayer, of course, is like jet fuel for sloshed metalheads and shrieks from some of the couple's surprised family members only added to the atmosphere of the whole thing.

Around the :18 mark, Katherine can be seen looking pretty salty about the whole thing. But Adam later confirmed to MetalSucks.net that no one was hurt.

You can check out the video in the player above or here.

Congratulations to the newlyweds.
