A new documentary about the late INXS frontman Michael Hutchence is set to debut next month in the UK, and new trailer for the film has just been released. “Mystify,” which debuted at the Tribeca Film Festival in April, explores the life of the rock singer, up until his untimely death in 1997.
“You know when there’s one person in the room that has a special light? That was him,” a voiceover is heard in the clip, while another adds, “He was the complete package.” U2’s Bono is also heard in the trailer, “I remember asking Michael what his definition of rock and roll was,” Bono says. “He said…liberation.”
The doc will be released October 18thin the UK. So far there’s no word on a U.S. release.
