The father of rocker Bret Michaels has passed away after being hospitalized.
The Poison frontman announced the news on social media yesterday that his father, Wally Sychak, had died after suffering cardiac arrest last Thursday. As we mentioned last week, he had been kept alive by a ventilator and Brett canceled his performances to be at Sychak’s side.
Michaels described his dad as a veteran who loved his country, people, family, golf, betting on horses, cold beer, and long drives. He talked about Sychak being a dreamer and his warrior and friend.
