TENNIS: Pittsburgh's Alison Riske Ousts No. 1 Barty, Now Faces Serena

Ash Barty's winning streak is over, and so are her chances of winning a second straight Grand Slam title...all due to Pittsburgh's Alison Riske!!!

The Australian had won 15 matches in a row, including the French Open title, but she lost to Riske 3-6, 6-2, 6-3, at Wimbledon yesterday, giving the unseeded American a spot in the quarterfinals of a major tournament for the first time.

Riske will next face some lady named Serena Williams today in the quarterfinals, after Serena took out Carla Suarez Navarro 6-2, 6-2 yesterday.

Riske has never faced Williams in a singles match. They were doubles partners in the 2015 Fed Cup when the U.S. faced Italy and Riske says she's "ready for a war."

"She's the greatest athlete I think that's ever been on the women's side. It's going to be a huge challenge, but I'm really looking forward to it," she said.

I’d say this is going to be a real cat-fight, only the stuffed suits at Wimbledon don’t let Serena wear her cat suit over there.

Good Luck, Alison!!!
