TINA TURNER: Opens Up About Son's Death, Talks About Marriage

Tina Turner’s 59-year-old son Craig died last July from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, and, in case you missed it, in a new interview with “CBS Sunday Morning,” Tina is opening up about the tragedy.

"I think Craig was lonely, that's what I think really got him more than anything else," she says. "I have pictures all around of him smiling, and I think I'm sensing that he's in a good place. I really do.

Tina also talks about her tumultuous relationship with ex-husband Ike Turner, sharing that while in the beginning he was “very good to me,” that changed, adding he become “cruel because he depended on me.”

Tina has been married to husband Erwin Bach since 2013, and says she considers it her first real marriage. “When Ike asked me to marry him, I knew it was for a reason. But I had to say yes… or it was gonna be a fight," she says. "And so then, when we drove to marry, that wasn’t my idea of my wedding."
