HARVEY WEINSTEIN: Call With New York Times Leaked

Before the "New York Times" exposed decades worth of sexual misconduct allegations against Harvey Weinstein two years ago,Award-winning Times reporters Jodi Kantor and Meghan Twohey sat down for a phone call with the film mogul to give him a chance to address the claims. What they didn’t know was that the call was being recorded… and Inside Edition has obtained the audio.

During the conference call, Weinstein defended himself before the story had even been published, saying, “I’m not a saint, but I’m not the sinner you think I am." When the reporters cited anonymous sources detailing a pattern of misconduct over a period of at least three decades, Weinstein attempted to get more information about who the sources are.

“I think you ought to be more specific and tell me who they are and if they’re on the record,” Weinstein can be heard saying in the recording. “There are many mistakes you’ve made, I promise we will find them.”
