TOP 10: The Top Rock Songs Played At Funerals

Music can be very important to some people when they pass, and a new report reveals the songs most often played as folks say goodbye to loved ones at funerals.

A report by the UK Co-Op Funeral Care says Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway to Heaven” is the top rock choice for funerals, followed by Meat Loaf’s “Bat Out Of Hell, ”Aerosmith’s “Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing” and two Queen songs “Who Wants To Live Forever” and “The Show Must Go On.”

But rock songs aren’t necessarily always folks’ first choice. The number one funeral song overall is Frank Sinatra’s “My Way,” followed by “Time To Say Goodbye,” by Andrea Bocelli and Sara Brightman.
