TOM PETTY: The Ultimate Collection for Petty Fans

For the second time in four months, after delays, there's a new multi-discTom Petty collection.

Released today (Friday), The Best of Everything is the first career-spanning set of his hits with The Heartbreakers, his solo work andtracks by Mudcrutch. The 38-track set includes two previously unreleased tracks, one of them a version of the title track which includes a never-heard verse to the song recorded for the 1985 Southern Accents album.

The Best of Everything is available as a two-disc CD, vinyl and digitally and comes with an essay by music journalist-turned-movie-director Cameron Crowe.
