JOHNNY MANZIEL: Johnny Football-Less? Gets the Big Boot from The CFL

The Montreal Alouettes released quarterback Johnny Manziel on Wednesday, saying he"contravened the agreement which made him eligible to play"in the Canadian Football League. Which I am pretty sure is Canadian for“he crapped the bed, eh?”

The CFL said Manziel is not eligible to sign with another team in the league, which had his full rights for two seasons.

"We advised Montreal that Johnny had violated one of the conditions we had set for him to be in our league. And Montreal announced his release today,'' CFL commissioner Randy Ambrosie said. “We didn't release the terms of those conditions then and we're not going to do that now.”

Alouettes GM Kavis Reed told reporters that Montreal would not have released Manziel if the CFL did not mandate the move.

The quarterback took to social media to thank his coach and teammates, while adding that he looks forward"to exploring new options within the United States."

Haha. His new options... If you ask me, his only option left at this point is taking up the nickname Johnny Barista.
