The stars of "Avengers: Infinity War" talk about their “first time” in a hilarious new voting PSA. Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, and more urge fans to register to vote in the upcoming midterm elections in the video by March For Our Lives in partnership with We Stand United. Check it out to the right.
In the video, the stars are accompanied by March For Our Lives co-founders David Hogg and Delaney Tarr. They recall their first time voting, complete with some tongue-in-cheek innuendos:
- “My first time with a woman was 2016,” recalls Evans, talking about Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. “It felt good, but it ended badly.”
- “I was nervous,” admits Johansson.
- “I mean, I didn’t know how to do it,” explains Ruffalo.
- “My parents weren’t allowed to do it until 1965, so I do it every chance I get,” notes Don Cheadle, who’s first time was “in a church.”
The PSA may be funny, but it sends a strong message to viewers – especially young, first-time voters. In a statement, Tarr says, “Our generation has the power to be heard all across America. We need every single American to join us in the fight.” If you haven’t already, you can register to vote through March Of Our Lives HERE.
