Chris Hardwick is returning to TV.

After an investigation, the comedian has been re-instated as host of AMC’s Talking Dead.

Hardwick will return to The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead after-show on August 12th. He was suspended by the network last month after his ex-girlfriend Chloe Dykstra wrote an essay accusing him of being emotionally and sexually abusive during their relationship.

In a statement, AMC said, “Following a comprehensive assessment by AMC, working with Ivy Kagan Bierman of the firm Loeb & Loeb, who has considerable experience in this area, Chris Hardwick will return to AMC as the host of Talking Dead and Talking With Chris Hardwick. We take these matters very seriously and given the information available to us after a very careful review, including interviews with numerous individuals, we believe returning Chris to work is the appropriate step.”

The season premiere for Talking With Chris Hardwick, which was pulled from the schedule following the essay, hasn't been rescheduled yet.
