NSFW: San Francisco Police Release Video Of Shootout

The San Francisco Police Department is getting the word out about a recent police shooting in Potrero Hill.

The department took part in a town hall meeting last night where several videos were played that captured some of the February 17th incident in Golden Gate Park's Panhandle area. Body-camera footage showed how police tracked Joel Armstrong to an RV at a homeless encampment on Alameda Street. Armstrong was wanted for allegedly shooting two people, killing one of them, in the area. During a standoff with Armstrong, he allegedly fired two rounds at officers, who shot at him with 65 rounds in less than 15 seconds in return. Armstrong eventually surrendered and escaped major injury.
