Harvey Weinstein was attacked at a restaurant in Scottsdale, Arizona, by a fellow diner.
The disgraced Hollywood mogul was approached by a man named Steve who said he loved his movies. The man apparently shook hands with Weinstein and then returned to his table. Weinstein, who was dining with his sober coach, finished up his meal around 9pm when he was reproached by Steve.
“You’re a piece of s–t for what you did to these women”, he said, referring to Weinstein's mounting sexual assault allegations. Steve then slapped Weinstein in the face. The TMZ video (NSFW) - which you can see HERE - shows the slaps landed on Weinstein's cheeks. He was apparently asked if he wanted to call the police, but he declined and left.
- In the meantime, Weinstein's estranged wife, Georgina Chapman, have agreed on a healthy divorce settlement. The reported deal is estimated to be worth between $15-million and $20-million, and includes their $15-million West Village townhouse in New York and their $12-million Hamptons beach house.
