Bon Jovi is one of the artists in the running for the 2018 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame class, and should they get in, fans may see a reunion between the band and guitarist Richie Sambora.
Richie tells “Billboard” that it’s “wonderful to be recognized,” but adds, “I'm not counting my chickens before they're hatched.” “I've been nominated before, so you never know what's gonna happen,” he shares. “And looking at the list of nominees, there's so many great people that I think should've been in already. Like The Cars and Dire Straits and everybody that's up.”
As for whether he’s willing to perform with his former band, he says, “Sure. Of course, why not?,” noting, “There’s not a lot of malice there, you know. I mean, there’s just -- it was just time for me to leave at that point. So yeah, of course.”
