BEACH BOYS, QUEEN & FOO FIGHTERS: An Unreleased Collaboration

Queen and the Foo Fighters have crossed paths before -- Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins inducted the band into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2001.

But now comes word that those two bands have crossed paths with another Rock and Roll Hall of Fame act -- The Beach Boys.

The Foos and Queen's Brian May and Roger Taylor recorded the late Dennis Wilson's 1974 song, "Holy Man," but it remains unreleased due to a legal dispute.

The Sun quotes a source who says, "The song is in a vault and nobody can do anything about it. It’s such a shame as there will clearly be a huge demand for it.”

Meanwhile, Stephen Kalinich, who co-wrote the song with Wilson, describes the six-minute song as a masterpiece, but adds that they've "never been able to release it because we can’t get the legalities worked out. Such a shame. People hear it and, honest to God, it brings tears to their eyes.”
