Good news Oakland fans, even after your beloved Raiders move to Vegas, you still may be able to enjoy those tailgate parties.
Because as of now, it seems like the team will have the fans parking closer to Oakland than Las Vegas.
According to an article over the weekend from “The Las Vegas Sun,” the Raiders are working with the University of Las Vegas to supply thousands of campus parking spots for patron parking for free.
Which is great until you realize that the university is over three miles from the stadium.
Meaning if you’re walking to the stadium from your car then you can divert all that money you saved to Uber or healthcare.
Relax, there will still be room at the stadium to park.
Yup, a study conducted in June, showed that the new stadium location would only accommodate 15 percent of the parking for the proposed 65,000-seat facility.
Meaning 85-percent of the fans will have to trek there some other way—in the 85-degree desert weather.
