Christine McVie says her ex-husband, Fleetwood Mac bassist John McVie, may not be long for the road.
Christine was asked recently about how he's doing since being diagnosed with colon cancer in 2013. She tells Postmedia Network, "He’s doing great. He’s in complete remission. But he has slowed down a little bit. Obviously, he is completely healthy. He loves sailing now. One has to wonder, this next tour, this might be his last. We’re just looking ahead one year at a time."
John will be 72 when the band heads out on a world tour next year.
Asked about a new Mac studio album, Christine says, "I don’t think anyone knows that. But one lives in hope that it could be possible."
Fleetwood Mac will come together this month for their only two shows this year -- Classic West at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on July 16th and Classic East at Citi Field in Queens, New York on the 30th.
Until then, Christine and Lindsey Buckingham bring their tour to Toronto tonight (Wednesday) for their only Canadian date.
