Last week, golfer Tiger Woods said on his website that he “hadn’t felt this good in years.”
Yeah, Tiger…drugs will do that.
Okay, maybe he wasn't on anything when he typed that, but he sure was on something around 3am last night—just not the road—as he was arrested for driving under the influence. But that influence wasn’t alcohol, at least according to Woods.
"I want the public to know that alcohol was not involved. What happened was an unexpected reaction to prescribed medications. I didn't realize the mix of medications had affected me so strongly.
Alright, so we don’t know exactly what he was under the influence of, but I can tell you what the general public will be influenced by—Tiger’s arrest mugshot.
Because regardless of what he was on—what you see in that mugshot is the face of a man that will never be the face of golf again. Especially with reports that the cops said he reeked of booze, got jerky with officers and “declined” to take a Breathalyzer.
Incidentally the PGA had no comment on the arrest, neither did Tiger’s physician…Dr. Jack Daniels. Too soon?
