Most of us haven’t stepped foot inside a Blockbuster Video store in years, since the company closed most of them when they declared bankruptcy in 2013. But a few remained open and Hector Zuniga, a 20-year-old who has autism, was a huge fan of his Blockbuster in Sharyland, Texas - until it recently closed.
To ease their son’s pain from losing his favorite video rental shop, his clever parents built him a mini one in their house. They installed a Blockbuster display rack, complete with the official sign and all of his prized DVDs. And he loved it!
Hector’s brother, Javi posted a photo on Twitter of his brother’s new personal Blockbuster location and you can see how happy it makes him. The post has been retweeted over 32,000 times and has more than 126,000 likes.
