Stevie Nicks has officially put the kibosh on any new Fleetwood Mac records. Why? She doesn't see the point because according to her, they won't sell.
“I don’t think there’s any reason to spend a year and an amazing amount of money on a record that, even if it has great things, isn’t going to sell," Nicks explains. "If the music business were different, I might feel different."
That doesn't mean the frontwoman is ready to hang up touring with the rest of Fleetwood Mac. “What we do is go on the road, do a ton of shows and make lots of money," she adds. "We have a lot of fun. Making a record isn’t all that much fun.” That shouldn't come as too big a surprise considering we previously reported Nicks and the rest of the crew are set to headline the bi-costal “Classic East” and “Classic West” festivals. f
