The Brit Awards paid tribute to Bowie last year. This year the tribute segment honored George Michael with Chris Martin of Coldplay duetting with a video of Michael singing his Wham! song “A Different Corner.”
Wham!'s Andrew Ridgeley also took part, calling Michael his “beloved friend” and describing his reaction to Michael’s death as “a supernova in a firmament of shining stars felt extinguished and it felt the sky had fallen in."
