PRINCE: Prince’s Streams Rise Dramatically

Prince’s music has been streaming since Sunday and  it seems a lot of people are taking advantage of it. According to  Nielsen numbers, Prince’s streams have increased 6,223% since Sunday,  with 4.77 million on-demand streams taking place on Sunday and Monday  alone.

As for the most popular streamed songs, they could pretty much  consist of some of Prince's most popular tunes. They include “Purple  Rain” (333,000 streams), “Let’s Go Crazy” (328,000), “When Doves Cry”  (320,000), “Little Red Corvette” (237,000) and “Kiss” (214,000).

Prince fans can now finally stream some of his most  popular works. As expected, 19 of Prince’s albums, most from his Warner  Bros. days, returned to streaming services yesterday, and are now  available on iHeartRadio and other streaming services.
