A Mississippi man is 140 pounds lighter after having a tumor removed that doctors told him was "just fat" for more than a decade.
Roger Logan had the benign growth removed in an operation in Bakersfield, California. The tumor had been growing for 15 years forcing Logan to spend much of his life in a wheelchair and give up managing his antique store.
Doctors believe the tumor, which hung from his belly, was caused by an ingrown hair. Logan said whenever he sought help in the past he was told that he was just fat. The massive growth had its own blood supply, which is why there was only a 50/50 chance of him pulling through…which he did.
Now Logan is thrilled that he can touch knees for the first time in over a decade! Source: The Sun
