Jamie Lynn Spears' eight-year-old daughter Maddie is in the hospital after a tragic ATV accident and now some more details about what happen have been revealed.
According to a statement by Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards, Maddie was riding a Polaris ATV on the family’s property and swerved around a drainage ditch, causing the vehicle to flip and fall into the pond. Jamie Lynn and her husband Jamie Watson quickly ran over to free Maddie, but had a hard time because of the safety belt and netting.
Luckily, emergency crews arrived quickly and were able to free Maddie, who is now at a New Orleans hospital where she remains in critical, but stable condition.
- Maddie’s aunt, Britney Spears, posted a sweet photo of Maddie and her dog, with the caption, “Need all the wishes and prayers for my niece," while Maddie's dad Jamie Spears told "Entertainment Tonight," “All I can say is pray for our baby Maddie.”
