Each year Big Brothers Big Sisters of Beaver County serves more than 250 youth in Beaver County by uniting young people with caring positive adult role models in professionally supported one-to-one mentoring programs. We know mentoring works:
96% of Littles in our programs are confident they can say no to drugs, violence and skipping school
84% have better grades, academic goals, and more confidence as a result of being matched
95% of Littles report they feel like they belong even though our Littles face adversity at a higher rate than the average young person in America
The challenges of the last 14 months have certainly taught us that young people in our community need mentors now more than ever. In 2020, during the pandemic, we made more than 70 new community matches, but cancelled four fundraising events. We are excited to be hosting Golf for Kids’ Sake 2021 safely next week!

Registration includes round of golf with cart, breakfast, lunch, games, raffles, $10,000 hole-in-one contest and much more!
We are also running an online auction in support of the outing! You don’t have to play golf to bid. There is are foursomes for golf at The Championship Firestone South Course and Diamond Run Golf Club, an Autographed Evgeni Malkin Jersey, signed Sidney Crosby puck and much more!
