Chobani Donates More Than 80K Cups Of Yogurt To Food Bank!

From the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank press release:

Duquesne, PA (May 20, 2020) – In an effort to lend support to the hunger-relief effort in southwestern Pennsylvania, today Chobani, LLC, donated more than 80,000 cups of Chobani® Greek Yogurt to Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank (the Food Bank).

This contribution is part of the Chobani Pantry initiative, sending trucks regularly to food banks who desperately need supplies across the U.S. Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, Chobani has donated more than 4 million cups of yogurt (and counting) to communities across the U.S.

“With food banks across the country facing unprecedented demand, we’re humbled to do our part to support the Greater Pittsburgh region,” said Peter McGuinness, president of Chobani. “We know that many families are struggling to put food on their table right now, so it’s on all of us to do what we can to help our heroes in local food banks.”

There's a drive-up distribution today at the Pittsburgh International Airport, and one Friday across from PPG Paints Arena..
