Some restaurants are looking out for healthcare workers who are risking their lives to fight the coronavirus by giving them free food. McDonald’s is the latest to show their support by offering free “Thank You Meals” to first responders and healthcare workers. These are some of the big chains where these literal lifesavers can get free food now.
- Get GO- Has extended their Get Go Free Beverage Program to healthcare workers that currently includes all Police Officers, Firefighters, Emergency Medical Service workers, Veterans and active duty members of the military. (They must be in uniform or show their badge and Advantage Card. Limit 1 free drink per visit. Beverages include: Coffee & Fountain) Free Car Wash Program - FREE Clean Car Wash to healthcare workers, first responders, doctors, nurses and medical staff.
- Krispy Kreme- The doughnut chain is showing their gratitude for healthcare workers from surgeons to dentists by giving them free dozens on Mondays when they show their badge.
- McDonald's- Now through May 5th, healthcare workers and first responders can come by Mickey D’s for a free “Thank You Meal.” The free meal can be breakfast, lunch, or dinner and workers just need to be in uniform or show their work badge to score one.
- Nando’s Peri-Peri- They’re providing catered meals to hospitals and will give hospital workers free meals if they come to a restaurant in uniform and show their hospital ID through May 3rd.
- Starbucks- The coffee giant is giving free coffee to front-line responders. Until May 3rd, they can nab a tall hot or iced brewed coffee on the house.
- Sweetgreen- The salad chain has set up Outposts for delivery at hospitals in cities where they have restaurants and hospital workers can order for free and pick their salads and bowls up right where they work.
