Billionaire Elon Musk promised a thousand ventilators by next week...and today we’re happy to tell you that the Tesla founder delivered.
California Governor Gavin Newsom couldn’t be more grateful. “They arrived in Los Angeles,” he said in a statement. “And Elon Musk is already working with the hospital association and others to get those ventilators out in real time. It’s a heroic effort.”
Word is, Musk and other automakers are already reconfiguring facilities to produce needed equipment for medical facilities.
